To Emars WavePool we go…

At lunch time we’re all packed and at 2 o’clock in the afternoon we’re on our way to Emars wave pool in Davao city. It’s the only operational wave pool here in Mindanao. This will be our second time of visit at Emars hotel, restaurant and beach resort. The first one was with our friends and because my husband and I liked it there, thoughts came into our mind of going back there. And so this is it! We’re really going. Yahoo!

Upon reaching the place, we went straight to the reception area and checked in. Actually, we had made a reservation for the room just two weeks ago to make sure that everything will fall into place. And the room rates were really worth it. We had the matrimonial room for only 1500 Php. Inclusive with it were two free wave pool pass (wave pool fee is 200 Php per head) and two free breakfast meal.

These were there free shower accessories.

We’re craving to eat our new favorite meal at chow king fast food. Their store had a branch at SM Citimall that happens to be just nearby the resort. So we went out for dinner only to be dismayed because we didn’t like the store’s sanitation plus the attitude. It was really disappointing. Going back to the hotel, we changed our clothes then headed to the pool at around 8 Pm and we’re still able to catch up the last round of 30 minutes waving motion in the pool. Before it starts an alert that sounded like a siren of a ship will be blown. There are life guards around and lots of available life jackets to use for free. So, it’s safe for the kids too and for those who can’t swim… like me, hehe! Our most liked part there was the Jacuzzi, having a chit-chat while chilling around. There were water slides too and other stuffs that kids would love.

After the pool moments, we went back to our room and took a hot shower. We ordered another food again for our round two dinner. And it’s nice and good.

The next morning, we took our breakfast at seven in the morning at their restaurant. The ambient of the place was really nice and cool. Tables and chairs were made of wood with an open wooden wall so the sea is overlooking, plus there’s a water fountain in front. And the smell of the sea is great to the feeling. After eating, we went back to our room, watched some TV shows, and then swimming time again.I’m not really a swimmer. I can’t swim when the water level is above my height but I’m so in love with the sea, pool, waterfalls, lakes, and anything that has to do with water.

We checked out at 12 noon. We’re really having a good time and planning to come again soon to Emars Wavepool Davao.
