They camouflage really well! The shape of their bodies mimic the tree where they live,  their habitat. We hardly noticed this one, we just happened to get really close to it, that’s why we recognized this little fella keeping still on a branch.

  1. Now I have to poke through my files—I know I have a New Zealand ‘stickie’ somewhere, if I find it I’ll post it. (Don’t wait up though … this may take a while.) (With all my clutter, quite a while.)
